Join Ginger and Paul as we’ll travel through scenic valleys, along the mighty Fraser River, through Hell’s Gate, and past the magnificent Pyramid Falls. This Rocky Mountaineer rail route, only accessible by train, also features the majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. This journey takes you to the stunning mountain towns of Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff, including a trip to the Columbia Icefields and a gondola ride through the soaring peaks of the Rockies.

Our Route

June 3: Arrive Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver and depart by a private motorcoach transfer from the Vancouver International Airport to your Vancouver Accommodation. Spend the remaining of the day on your own. Your admission to the Vancouver Lookout is included in your package: get a 360-degree view of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

June 4: Vancouver to Kamloops

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops. You will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Breakfast & lunch are included onboard.

Overnight and dinner in Kamloops. Hotel TBA.

June 5: Kamloops to Jasper

Today your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. You will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, Yellowhead Pass. Breakfast and lunch included onboard.

June 6: Jasper

Board your private motorcoach for a half-day sightseeing tour of Jasper. Highlights include Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, Maligne Canyon and the Athabasca viewpoint. Enjoy a buffet luncheon at Maligne Canyon. The remainder of the day is free to explore more of Jasper National Park independently. A Group Dinner is included at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

June 7: Jasper to Lake Louise

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic highways. The highlight today is a visit to the Columbia Icefield, an Ice Explorer ride on the Athabasca Glacier and Glacier Skywalk. A Group Lunch is included at the Columbia Icefield Centre.

June 8: Lake Louise to Banff

Depart by motorcoach for your full-day tour of Banff and Yoho National Park. Yoho National Park offers magnificent natural wonders like the Spiral Tunnels, the turquoise serene waters of Emerald Lake and a natural Rock Bridge spanning the Kicking Horse River. A Group Lunch is included at Emerald Lake Lodge.

June 9: Banff to Calgary

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour from Banff to Calgary. Highlights include Banff Gondola, a spectacular eight-minute gondola ride to the top of Sulphur mountain for a 360-degree view. Admission and a Group lunch is included at the Heritage Park Historical Village. Your admission to the Calgary Tour is also included and you will visit it on your own.

Overnight at Fairmont Palliser Hotel.

June 10: Depart Calgary

Check out of your hotel and depart by motorcoach for your transfer to the Calgary International Airport. Your vacation with us ends here.
